Job summary

Barrett Business Services, Inc. (BBSI) is seeking Market Development Managers to drive growth by identifying, engaging, and closing new client prospects.

You will present BBSI's knowledge and value to prospective clients and develop a network of referral partners to generate qualified leads. The MDM role requires world-class leadership to build relationships with business owners, referral partners, and decision makers.

Qualifications

• MUST show proven track record of prospecting, closing sales, and bringing on new clients.
• Demonstrated leadership, including development of teams and individuals.
• Ability to build relationships with business owners, referral partners, executives and decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Find, engage, and close new client prospects.
• Build a channel of referral partner relationships to generate qualified leads.
• Outline and execute a sales plan to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Build relationships with key clients and represent BBSI's offerings.
• Work with service team to move prospects into closing and onboarding.
• Understand BBSI's target client base and focus business development accordingly.
• Drive top-line revenue for the branch while supporting bottom-line management.
• Communicate value and expectations to clients and partners.
