Job summary

Ballard Marine Construction LLC is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive client relationships, market analysis, and pursuit efforts across Power, Water/Wastewater, Industrial, Environmental, and Transportation markets. You will lead outreach, attend events, and build strategic pipelines with Operations, Marketing, and Pursuit teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in BD within A/E/C, proficient CRM use (Microsoft Dynamics), and strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or equivalent education/experience.
• Five years’ professional experience in the business development department within an A/E/C firm.
• Experience with a CRM Database, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strategic customer relationships leading to strategic leads and opportunities.
• Describe Ballard’s services within Power, Water/Wastewater, Industrial, Environmental, and Transportation Industries.
• Articulate Ballard’s strategic vision to key stakeholders and potential customers.
• Report on market conditions, activities, and trends.
• Support the strategic identification and implementation of new markets with the BD team.
• Collaborate with Ballard and TCG business development for strong cooperation.
• Prepare customer presentations and deliver pitches to prospective clients.
• Monitor and improve business processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate pre-show planning and post-show activities for national/regional trade shows.
• Conduct market research and capture targets in CRM.
• Other duties as assigned.
