Job summary

MPI is seeking an experienced Purchasing Planner in Fort Lauderdale, FL to support production through material planning and inventory management. You will ensure components, raw materials, and supplies are available to meet schedules while maintaining efficient inventory levels, working closely with purchasing, operations and supplier partners.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in material planning within manufacturing, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong ERP/MRP and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in material planning, supply chain, purchasing, or inventory in manufacturing.
• Strong ERP/MRP understanding and Excel proficiency.
• Experience with regulated manufacturing industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review demand forecasts, schedules and inventory to develop material plans.
• Maintain inventory levels while reducing shortages and excess stock.
• Generate purchase requisitions and support timely order placement.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and expediting critical materials when needed.
• Maintain data in ERP/MRP systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
