Job summary

Mp Materials Corp. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to develop and maintain production plans for a group of processing centers within a large-scale facility.

You will balance customer demand with capacity, material availability, labor, and inventory while coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, and Customer Service to deliver executable schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (SCM, Operations, IE, Business, Manufacturing).
• 3+ years of production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing experience in large-scale industry.
• Experience in converting raw materials into finished products.
• Understanding of production scheduling, inventory management, and capacity planning.
• Experience with ERP/MRP/APS, preferably SAP.
• Experience coordinating production across multiple operating areas.
• APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production plans and schedules for assigned manufacturing centers.
• Balance demand, inventory targets, capacity, labor, and constraints in schedules.
• Sequence production to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.
• Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans for changing conditions.
• Ensure production schedules align with facility and business objectives.
• Coordinate raw material requirements to support planned production.
• Monitor material consumption against plan and identify risks to production continuity.
• Partner with Procurement and Supply Chain to address material shortages and supply constraints.
• Support inventory optimization initiatives for raw materials and intermediates.
• Finish goods planning to meet delivery requirements and inventory targets.
• Monitor WIP inventories and identify bottlenecks and constraints.
• Coordinate with operations to maintain optimal inventory levels and throughput.
• Support capacity planning by identifying resource constraints and proposing solutions.
• Review production performance daily and adjust schedules; escalate constraints as needed.
