Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a Production Planner for our Plant 4 in Whitehall, MI. This role involves coordinating with customers, ensuring on-time delivery, and aligning with multiple departments to optimize scheduling and manufacturing flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills are required.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with regular and prospective customers regarding requirements and status of projects and orders.
• Audits scheduling rules and coordinates with other departments to meet On Time Delivery targets.
• Tracks open items, ensures PO coverage, and resolves contractual issues delaying input or shipment.
• Processes orders for assigned accounts including entry, acknowledgment, and resolution of delays.
• Addresses complaints of service failures and refers to designated departments for investigation.
• Plans and schedules workflow with Master Scheduler according to manufacturing sequences and lead times.
