Job summary

Waters is seeking a Production Planner to convert capacity plans into actionable production schedules in a regulated, high-volume environment. You will partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Master Data, Customer Service and Logistics to release orders and track status from release to stock.

Responsibilities include managing capacity, material availability, and reporting KPIs, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in supply chain, business, or related field; degree may be negotiable with relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ERP experience (SAP, JDE, etc.).
• 3–5 years of manufacturing/planning/scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

• Convert rough-cut capacity master schedule into a detailed production plan.
• Create/release production orders with cross-functional partners.
• Report product status and availability timelines to stakeholders.
• Balance capacity with material availability and optimize inventory waste.
• Provide data for KPI reporting and drive process improvements.
