Job summary

Polywater is seeking a Master Scheduler & Planner to own the production plan in a fast-moving, high-mix manufacturing environment. You will coordinate with Customer Service, Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Warehouse, and Logistics to keep priorities aligned and commitments on track.

The role requires 8+ years of scheduling experience, strong ERP/MRP and Excel skills, and a proven ability to develop executable schedules while maintaining inventory efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
• 8+ years of production planning or scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in high-mix, high-volume manufacturing.
• ERP/MRP and Excel proficiency required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize master production schedules for manufacturing and packaging operations.
• Schedule, sequence, and adjust production orders across multiple work centers.
• Analyze capacity, labor, equipment, and material needs to forecast and plan ahead.
• Create finite schedules to balance load across resources and support budgeting.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Inventory Control to ensure material availability and optimize turns.
• Maintain accurate ERP planning data and generate performance reports.
• Re-prioritize schedules as needs change.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
