Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing planning, production scheduling, or production control.
• Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment (CNC machining, metal fabrication, etc).
• Strong understanding of scheduling principles and production workflows.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules to support on-time delivery.
• Monitor capacity and resource utilization to maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with manufacturing leadership to align schedules with priorities.
• Review orders and adjust production plans based on demand and delivery requirements.
• Create and release travelers through the ERP system.
• Coordinate with purchasing to ensure material availability.
• Monitor WIP and finished goods inventory for planning accuracy.
• Communicate schedule changes and risks to internal teams.
• Maintain scheduling data, calendars, and routing information.
• Identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements to throughput.
