Job summary

Astemo, Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Leader in Monroe, GA to direct assembly operations, optimize schedules and drive improvements in quality, cost, and safety.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Engineering and Maintenance teams to meet production goals and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree with 5+ years in manufacturing leadership, automotive exposure, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Four year degree with at least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of production, scheduling and shipping operations.
• Familiarity with IATF16949, ISO14000 and OSHA regulations.
• Proven ability to motivate team efforts to accomplish goals.
• Experience in hiring, performance reviews, and corrective actions.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assembly operations including processes and schedules.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and downtime planning.
• Allocate tools, equipment and staffing to meet results.
• Plan and coordinate activities to fulfill orders and inventory.
• Improve quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale.
• Develop and maintain productivity and quality reporting.
• Drive capacity analysis and OEE improvement.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Maintenance to improve processes.
• Ensure EHS compliance.
• Mentor, train and coach direct reports.
