Job summary

Protec Arisawa America is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee finance operations at our Vista, CA site. The role leads day-to-day accounting, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring strong internal controls and accurate statements.

You will mentor staff, coordinate month-end and year-end closes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support growth. The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in manufacturing finance, a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (CMA/CPA a plus), and proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CMA/CPA a plus.
• 5–7 years in a Financial Controller or senior accounting role in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, deadlines, and internal controls.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration on-site.
• Proficiency with MS Business Central and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions including AR, AP, payroll, purchasing and GL entries, plus financial analysis and reporting.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models for decision-making and scenario planning.
• Oversee treasury functions: cash management, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization.
• Prepare and deliver financial presentations to the board and executives.
• Collaborate with tax professionals to optimize tax strategies and compliance.
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with external and internal audits to ensure compliance.
• Provide insights to senior management for planning, cost optimization, and growth.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate financial systems and data sources.
• Supervise and develop the finance team; promote continuous improvement.
