Job summary

Automated Systems of Tacoma (AST) seeks a Controller to lead the accounting team in Tacoma, WA. You will ensure timely, accurate financial reporting, oversee cost analysis, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive strategic decisions.

This full-time onsite position requires 8+ years in accounting/finance within manufacturing, a bachelor’s degree (CPA preferred), and proficiency with ERP (Epicor Kinetic), SQL, Power BI, and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting and finance experience in manufacturing or related industry.
• Experience with job costing and percent-of-completion accounting is preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor Kinetic is required or highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and monitor financial and cost analysis processes in support of leadership.
• Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate financial forecasts and strengthen internal controls.
