Precision Castparts is seeking a Controller to lead all financial aspects of the business and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX. The role partners with Division and Corporate Finance to drive profitability, cash flow, and strategic planning.

The Controller oversees the Accounting department, manages audits, budgets, and forecasts, and aligns financial strategy with manufacturing operations. Strong analytical skills, leadership, and experience in internal controls are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Accounting/Finance experience in a manufacturing environment with full responsibility for books and records.
• GAAP & SOX knowledge is required; track record of improving internal controls.
• Publicly traded company experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all financial statements, internal and external audits, budgets, forecasts, and strategic business plans; coordinate with Division and Corporate Finance.
• Oversees daily operations of the Accounting department and controls company assets including inventory and fixed assets.
• Prepares timely reviews and analyses of financial data, statements, audits, and quarterly business reviews.
• Directs preparation of budgets; monitors approved budgets monthly; provides guidance to management.
