Job summary

Kreate, Findlay, OH, seeks a seasoned Controller to lead financial operations in our manufacturing facility. You will own financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance, partnering with operations to guide decision-making.

The role requires CPA/CMA preferred, strong knowledge of GAAP, and experience in cost accounting and inventory management. You will manage external auditors and drive process improvements to support growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in a Controller or similar role in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls for accurate reporting.
• Prepare financial statements: income statement, balance sheet, cash flow with analysis for decision-making.
• Prepare and analyze budgets and forecasts to control expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations; manage external auditors and tax authorities.
• Collaborate with department heads to provide financial guidance and support.
• Produce regular financial reports and KPIs for management and stakeholders.
• Continuously improve financial systems and processes for efficiency.
• Support capital investment decisions and long-term financial planning.
