Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking an Accounting Manager to direct the accounting function in a manufacturing setting in Minerva, Ohio.

You will oversee reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in alignment with GAAP and SOX compliance. The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to guide cost control actions and improve financial processes across the operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-5 years professional experience in a finance manufacturing leadership environment.
• Working knowledge of electronic data processing systems and financial reporting systems.
• Strong knowledge of spreadsheet software packages.
• Ability to validate, report and organize financial information to show main drivers and variances.

Responsibilities

• Direct and perform account reconciliation to maintain integrity of GL.
• Oversee A/R, A/P and payroll functions within the operation.
• Analyze forecasts and operating results; advise on corrective actions for variances.
• Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports in line with GAAP.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts; report on cost saving programs.
• Support SOX compliance and monthly close with journal entries.
• Counsel Controller and operations leadership on financial implications.
• Liaise with internal and outside auditors on financial reporting.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
