Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Controller to join a rapidly growing manufacturing firm. You will oversee all financial activities, including month-end close, reporting, and cash flow management, within the engineering team.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in finance, with CPA/MBA preferred, and a proven leadership track in budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance. Epicor experience is a plus; strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a business or finance environment; management experience; corporate and financial planning experience.
• Proven experience as a Controller, Accounting Supervisor, or Senior Accountant, particularly in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of business and financial principles and practices.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
• Proficiency in Epicor.
• Solid analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all company accounts and investments.
• Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
• Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.
• Synchronize all operations and processes of the finance department.
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
• Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.
• Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
• Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.
• Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.
• Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies.
• Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations.
