Job summary

Volpi Foods, America’s oldest family-owned Italian meat manufacturer, seeks a Maintenance & Reliability Planner to lead preventive and corrective maintenance planning across plant equipment. You will oversee MRO inventory, PM/CMMS programs, and project delivery while coordinating with the Maintenance Manager and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include planning work orders, managing spare parts and purchasing requisitions, and ensuring timely maintenance backlog progress.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school education with at least five years of directly related experience.
• An associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred with at least three years of experience.
• Prior industrial maintenance, inventory, and/or planning experience required.
• Experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems is required.
• CMMS experience and ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics are essential.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify and maintain preventive maintenance planning and schedules for plant machinery.
• Manage maintenance inventory in ERP and CMMS; ensure cycle counting and reordering.
• Prepare and submit Purchasing Requisitions; monitor POs and spend; perform goods receipts.
• Plan and kit maintenance work orders to ensure efficient execution.
• Backlog management to ensure PMs and work orders progress to completion.
• Coordinate maintenance needs with operations to minimize downtime.
• Perform data analysis to monitor PM and MRO performance; implement improvements.
• Lead maintenance repair and improvement projects; backup Maintenance Manager.
