Job summary

Georgia Nut Company is seeking a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to plan, coordinate and schedule maintenance to maximize equipment uptime in our food processing facility in Skokie, IL.

You will develop complete job plans, manage parts and labor, coordinate downtime with Operations, use Maintimizer to track work orders, and collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing and external vendors. 5+ years of experience and CMMS familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance planning experience in food processing/manufacturing.
• CMMS experience required; Maintimizer preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate planned maintenance requests and backlog; confirm scope, resources, and priority.
• Develop complete job plans for PM and non-breakdown work with labor hours, parts, tools and safety requirements.
• Coordinate downtime with Operations and Engineering to optimize plant uptime.
• Maintain and revise weekly 52-week rolling PM plan and look-ahead schedules.
• Maintain accurate work orders, PMs, equipment records/history in Maintimizer and document changes.
• Support shutdown planning, audits and regulatory requirements as applicable.
