Job summary

Roseburg Forest Products is seeking a Maintenance Planner to support maintenance and reliability for its manufacturing operation. You will plan, requisition materials and services, and coordinate future maintenance plans and projects.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing (Millwright/Electrician), blueprints reading, and CMMS experience. Strong problem solving, communication, and teamwork are essential; willingness to work nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing as a Millwright, Electrician, or equivalent trade.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and some drafting.
• Proficient in Word, Access, Excel; experience with Preventive Maintenance Systems.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent listening, written and verbal communications skills.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays as needed.
• Willing to attend additional training with passing grades.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain preventative and predictive schedules in the CMMS.
• Collaborate with departments to translate work requirements into clear plans.
• Plan and prioritize maintenance work with maintenance and purchasing.
• Plan maintenance tasks including shutdowns and projects.
• Attend daily approval and weekly partner meetings.
• Coordinate with purchasing to ensure parts availability.
• Maintain maintenance and equipment records and generate reports.
• Track crew availability and provide job estimates.
