Job summary

MSA Safety is seeking a seasoned corporate development professional to lead M&A strategy, diligence, and integration efforts. The role requires overseeing acquisitions, joint ventures, and investments, with direct collaboration to the VP of Corporate Development and the Board.

You will build financial models, evaluate opportunities, and present recommendations. A high degree of cross-functional leadership and executive communication is essential for success in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Science or other related field
• Minimum of 10+ years of relevant professional experience in corporate development, investment banking, consulting, finance or similar analytical background
• Experience leading global projects and cross-functional teams, prioritizing multiple initiatives
• Experience analyzing and negotiating transactions, including financial modeling and due diligence
• Strong financial acumen across P&L, balance sheet, cash flow; advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills
• MBA preferred; experience in corporate development, investment banking, consulting or finance

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, analyze and value potential acquisitions, JVs, investments, and other strategic opportunities
• Lead development of M&A strategies with VP Corporate Development
• Provide insights and recommendations based on industry research and due diligence
• Support transaction execution and post-closing integration planning
• Manage active M&A pipeline and present financial rationale to senior management and board
• Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with senior executives under pressure
