Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an experienced Corporate Development Leader to generate, manage, and execute mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, and strategic partnerships in robotics, AI, logistics, and supply chain. Located in Boston, MA, with consideration for San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA in select cases.

This role partners with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive deal flow and transaction execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• Experience with financial analysis and modeling.
• 7+ years of experience in technology corporate development, private equity, investment banking and/or venture capital.
• Experience creating and analyzing M&A and investment processes for a wide variety of transactions.
• History of successfully completing high-level, end-to-end negotiations.
• Very strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities supporting Amazon's strategic priorities through interaction with senior leaders and external partners.
• Partner with Amazon businesses to evaluate expansion and growth opportunities.
• Evaluate benefits of acquisitions, investments and partnerships, and manage internal/external consensus-building.
• Act as a subject matter expert on valuation and deal structuring.
• Lead all pre-transaction diligence efforts.
• Evaluate synergy opportunities and risks in potential transactions.
• Negotiate key legal documents and bring transactions over the finish line.
• Work with cross-functional teams to execute transactions from term sheet to integration.
• Establish processes and strategy to build Amazon’s corporate development capability.
