Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Corporate Development Leader to generate, manage, and execute mergers, acquisitions, minority investments, and strategic partnerships in robotics, AI, logistics, and supply chain. The role partners with WW Operations, Robotics, and senior leadership, requiring independent, data-driven thinking and strong cross-functional collaboration.

The position is located in Boston, MA, with consideration for San Francisco or Seattle in select cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• Experience with financial analysis and modeling.
• 7+ years of experience in technology corporate development, private equity, investment banking and/or venture capital.
• Experience creating and analyzing M&A and investment processes.
• History of successfully completing high-level, end-to-end negotiations.
• Very strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities supporting Amazon's strategic priorities through interactions with senior leaders and dealmakers.
• Partner with Amazon businesses to evaluate expansion and growth opportunities.
• Evaluate benefits of acquisitions, investments, and partnerships; manage internal/external consensus.
• Act as a subject matter expert on valuation and deal structuring.
• Lead all pre-transaction due diligence efforts.
• Negotiate key legal documents and bring transactions over the finish line.
• Work with cross-functional teams to execute transactions from term sheet to integration.
• Establish processes and strategy to sustain Amazon's corporate development leadership.
