Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Corporate Development Manager focused on mergers and acquisitions deal execution. You will lead due diligence, valuation, integration/separation planning, and work with Legal, Tax, Accounting and Treasury to structure transactions.

You will communicate with executive leadership to drive deals from strategy to closing. The role requires 5+ years in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development, with strong financial analysis and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Strong financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills with proficiency in analyzing complex financial data.
• 5+ years experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, mergers and acquisitions.
• Strategic mindset with ability to identify and assess new business opportunities.
• Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interaction with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead acquisition and divestiture due diligence process, valuation analysis, pre-closing integration / separation planning and closing processes.
• Deal Strategy: Develop business cases for acquisitions with competitive marketplace assessments.
• Due Diligence: Identify and execute critical due diligence items.
• Financial Analysis: Create detailed financial models and valuation analyses.
• Deal Structuring: Collaborate with Legal, Tax, Accounting, Finance and Treasury teams.
• Deal Approval: Support communications with Cardinal Health leadership and facilitate approval.
• Integration Planning: Coordinate integration timelines and budget alignment.
• Separation Planning: Develop separation plans for divestitures and transition services.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure regulatory compliance and governance standards.
