Cardinal Health invites an Corporate Development Manager to lead M&A deal execution from diligence to closing. The role reports to the Corporate Development team and collaborates with external stakeholders and internal functions to evaluate and execute strategic transactions.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in corporate development or related fields, exceptional financial modeling capabilities, and strong leadership and communication skills to navigate complex deals and governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 5+ years experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, strategy, finance, or accounting preferred.
• Strong financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills with proficiency in analyzing complex financial data.
• Strategic mindset with ability to identify and assess new business opportunities.
• Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support acquisition and divestiture due diligence process, valuation analysis, pre-closing integration/separation planning and closing processes.
• Develop business cases for acquisitions with detailed assessment of markets and investment requirements.
• Create detailed financial models and valuation analyses to assess potential transactions.
• Collaborate with Legal, Tax, Accounting, Finance and Treasury to structure transactions.
• Support communications with Cardinal Health leadership and facilitate corporate approval for deals.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on integration and separation planning and governance.
