Cardinal Health is seeking a Manager in Corporate Development to lead M&A deal execution, due diligence, valuation, and integration planning. You will collaborate with Legal, Tax, Accounting, Finance, and Treasury, while supporting senior leadership in strategic transactions.

The role requires strong financial modeling, a strategic mindset, and excellent communication skills to drive deal outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• 5+ years experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, preferred
• Strong financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills with proficiency in analyzing complex financial data
• Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and assess new business opportunities
• Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external partners

Responsibilities

• Lead due diligence, valuation analyses, and pre-closing integration/separation planning for acquisitions and divestitures
• Deal strategy: develop business cases with cross-functional teams
• Create detailed financial models and valuation analyses to assess transactions' financial impact
• Structure transactions in collaboration with Legal, Tax, Accounting, Finance and Treasury
• Support communications with Cardinal Health leadership and facilitate approvals
• Coordinate integration and separation planning with cross-functional teams
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and governance requirements throughout the M&A process
