Responsibilities

• Lead (including structuring and negotiating) significant transactions on behalf of BMS, including M&A, licensing, and divestitures, from initial contact to definitive agreements.
• Drive the deal pipeline and provide insights to inform strategic priorities in partnership with R&D and Commercial.
• Conduct valuation, financial, and strategic analyses to ensure rigorous decision-making.
• Collaborate with therapeutic area leads to define strategies for external assets.
• Represent BMS with rigor and professionalism in negotiations.
• Present business rationale and proposals to senior stakeholders for governance and approvals.
• Build and sustain external relationships with banks, law firms, and partner leaders.
