Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an Executive Director to unify Product Development, Analytical Services and Direct Materials procurement under a single leadership. You will drive end-to-end sourcing, governance, and supplier relationships at a $1B spend level, aligning category strategies with finance and key stakeholders across global operations.

Lead a large, diverse team, champion sustainable procurement and innovative practices while navigating complex regulatory environments.

Qualifications

• Global procurement leadership across Product Development, Analytical Services, and Direct Materials in pharma/biotech.
• Experience integrating new categories or teams into an established organization.
• Strong communication across senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of Direct Materials into Product Development & Analytical Services org.
• Develop and implement 3–5 year category strategies and annual plans.
• Manage supplier performance, risk, and governance across sub-categories.
• Negotiate contracts to obtain favorable terms and value.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain stakeholders.
