Job summary

Selene Holdings seeks an experienced leader to manage the Loss Mitigation Performance & Legal Support team. You will oversee case assignment, throughput, and escalation handling for complex mortgage-related matters.

You will coordinate with Legal, Servicing, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Compliance, and investor stakeholders to drive compliant resolution strategies, while coaching staff and monitoring risk, quality, and operational metrics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of mortgage servicing experience with loss mitigation, foreclosure timelines, bankruptcy, and investor requirements.
• 2+ years of supervisory or people-management experience.
• Experience handling escalated, legally sensitive loss mitigation matters with sound recommendations.
• Working knowledge of SARA, LMS, Director, BKFS and other servicing systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and risk assessment skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across multiple business units and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Loss Mitigation Performance & Legal Support team, case assignment, workload balance, and escalations.
• Serve as management-level expert for loss mitigation in litigated or contested matters.
• Lead cross-functional coordination with Legal, Servicing, Foreclosure, and Compliance teams.
• Provide guidance on complex borrower situations, modifications, settlements, and workouts.
• Oversee litigation-related loss mitigation responses and documentation to meet investor guidelines.
• Monitor inventories, service levels, metrics, and risk; elevate issues with solutions.
• Establish workflows, handoffs, controls, and communication standards across partners.
• Coach, develop, and provide performance feedback to team members.
• Support audits, regulatory requests, investor reviews, and internal controls reviews.
• Identify process improvements and drive training, reporting, and procedural updates.
