Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree plus paralegal certification.
• Two+ years paralegal experience.
• Two to four years mortgage industry experience or training.
• Paralegal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in settlement negotiations to resolve cases with minimal risk.
• Respond to borrower and attorney inquiries about loss mitigation and options.
• Coordinate with attorneys and borrowers to finalize loan modifications.
• Document mediation outcomes and review affidavits and filings.
• Manage case status, deadlines, and required documentation across systems.
• Represent the company at hearings, mediations, or depositions when needed.
