Job summary

Allied Machine & Engineering Corp. in Dover, OH is seeking a Logistics/Shipping Supervisor with 3–5 years of experience to lead the shipping team and optimize the order fulfillment process.

Qualifications

• Identify opportunities within the order fulfillment process which may increase throughput, minimize costs, reduce delivery times and increase customer satisfaction.
• Administer the Warehouse Management System data to ensure accuracy, maximize storage capacity and increase handling efficiency.
• Maintain all shipping related data required to effectively ship both domestically and internationally.
• Meet corporate and departmental goals and objectives
• Other Duties as assigned by Plant Manager

POSITION: Logistics/Shipping Supervisor

LEVEL OF AUTHORITY: Supervisor

THIS POSITION REPORTS TO: Plant Manager

JOB TITLES REPORTING TO THIS POSITION: Shipping Associates

ROLE:

Manage all aspects of customer order fulfillment process, while executing best practices to ensure efficient and cost effective deliveries of AMEC product.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise shipping associates and effectively apply resources to meet demand.
• Identify opportunities within the order fulfillment process which may increase throughput, minimize costs, reduce delivery times and increase customer satisfaction.
• Administer the Warehouse Management System data to ensure accuracy, maximize storage capacity and increase handling efficiency.
