Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Transportation and Logistics Manager to oversee daily operations and optimize end-to-end supply chain performance in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on developing strategies to reduce costs, improve efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, collaborate with sales, customer service, and external carriers to meet customer needs, monitor KPIs, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in transportation, logistics, supply chain or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in transportation and logistics management.
• Experience in the freight forwarding industry preferred.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Certification in transportation/logistics (e.g., CTP or CLP) preferred.
• Experience with Transportation Management Software (TMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the transportation and logistics department's daily operations.
• Coordinate with sales and customer service to meet customer needs.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability.
• Collaborate with external partners, carriers, and suppliers to maintain reliable services.
