Job summary

DP World North America is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution for our North American network. The role focuses on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing service levels across multiple sites.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage carrier relationships, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support business objectives and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of WMS, TMS, and inventory control processes.
• Experience managing 3PLs and carrier relationships.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and supply chain reporting tools.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse teams to maintain accurate stock records.
• Analyze logistics performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Negotiate contracts, rates, and service agreements with transportation providers and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and transportation laws.
• Lead, mentor, and develop logistics and warehouse personnel.
• Manage logistics budgets and control operational expenses.
• Resolve transportation, shipment, and supply chain issues quickly and effectively.
