Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics and freight operations focusing on U.S. Customs and trade compliance.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, import/export procedures, and trade compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day inbound and outbound shipping and freight operations, ensuring on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
• Oversee U.S. Customs and international trade compliance activities, including tariff classification (HTS) and duty management.
• Supervise a team of logistics staff; assign workload and review performance.
• Serve as primary point of escalation for shipment issues, carrier disputes, and customer service concerns.
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, brokers, and customs agents; negotiate rates and service agreements.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable import/export regulations, trade agreements, and company policy.
• Monitor and report on key logistics metrics to the Director of Supply Chain.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase logistics efficiency and reduce cost.
• Collaborate with other departments on logistics-related needs.
