Momentum Transportation USA, an award-winning Landstar Agent, seeks an Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day transportation activities, dispatching trucks to meet customer demands and maintaining profitable carrier relationships.

You will monitor shipments end-to-end, negotiate rates, and utilize TMS/ERP systems while ensuring accuracy and timely updates. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BA/BS in Logistics or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years dispatch operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch trucks to meet customer demand.
• Track shipments from pickup to delivery and provide updates.
• Negotiate rates and service with transport providers.
• Maintain carrier relationships to ensure capacity and service.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, and team.
• Update transportation management systems.
• Prioritize tasks to improve quality and service.
• Provide extended hours during month/quarter/year ends.
• Maintain professional behavior and attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
