Job summary

You will schedule and dispatch trucks, negotiate rates, monitor shipments from pickup to delivery, and communicate issues to the right teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Supply chain, logistics or transportation experience preferred.
• AS400 and MS Office proficiency needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and timely scheduling and dispatching of trucks.
• Negotiate rates and service with transportation providers.
• Monitor shipments from pickup to delivery (track & trace).
• Communicate service issues to internal and external stakeholders.
• Update and maintain transportation management and operations system.
• Prioritize tasks to impact quality and service performance.
• Adhere to standards on customer satisfaction and timeliness.
• Identify problems and implement solutions quickly.
• Provide complex problem resolution and guidance.
• Use industry and company systems to process client shipments.
• Maintain regular attendance and flexibility for overtime.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and perform other duties as assigned.
