Job summary

Kenco Group seeks a Director of Logistic Operations to oversee regional site performance, partnering with site General Managers, and driving value for clients through optimized logistics operations.

The role requires strong leadership, relationship management, and a track record with Lean Six Sigma; extensive travel is expected to support cross-site initiatives and client engagements. This is a senior, strategic position within a leading 3PL provider in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business management, logistics, or related field required; MBA preferred.
• 8–10 years of supply chain management, business management or logistics experience.
• 3–5 years of logistic site leadership with budgetary experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate the company vision downstream to sites and employees.
• Identify new business opportunities and maximize revenue with existing customers through proactive communication.
• Facilitate monthly and quarterly business reviews to showcase performance and value.
• Oversee day-to-day site performance against KPIs and implement improvements.
• Meet monthly with General Managers to ensure alignment of daily operations.
• Drive safety initiatives across the network to reduce risks.
• Develop and review customer profiles and propose improvements.
• Build business cases and present value solutions aligned with customer objectives.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and training to staff; work with Learning & Development.
• Lead implementation of new programs and cross-functional collaboration.
• Use Lean Six Sigma tools to assess site capabilities for efficiency, safety, quality, and finances.
• Visit sites regularly to maintain aligned management presence.
