Job summary
Yusen Logistics Group is seeking an Account Manager in Grapevine, TX to manage large accounts and drive profitable growth within the ADP framework. You will lead development activities, analyze insights from operations, and coordinate with product, operations, and vendors to optimize supply chain performance.
The role requires strong relationship-building with executive levels, an in-depth logistics knowledge, and fluency in English.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales or Business.
- Strong knowledge of the logistics industry and market trends.
- Proven ability to grow and retain key customers.
- Ability to detect trends in customers’ business and industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; strong negotiation skills.
- Proven track record building relationships with C-level executives.
- Experience in multicultural, global sales environments.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the account strategy and plan aligned to ADP.
- Lead business development, including prospecting, qualifying, winning, and onboarding opportunities.
- Collect and analyze insights to improve supply chain efficiency for the customer.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to address requests (RFQ/RFP, quotes) and optimize outcomes.
- Be the single point of contact to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
- Provide leadership in a matrixed environment across the network to achieve ADP goals.
- Monitor SOPs across branch offices and share operational improvements.
- Distribute KPI-based reports to stakeholders and drive proactive actions.
- Lead conferences/calls with customers to review performance and opportunities.
