Job summary

Necco is seeking an Initial Licensing Specialist to lead recruitment and retention strategies across all US locations, driving programs and data-driven decisions to support foster care initiatives.

You will manage the certification process, collaborate with community partners, and train foster parents per state requirements. This role also involves on-call advisory duties and ensuring timely inquiry responses and CRM integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in social work or related field, or Board of Regents degree with human service concentration.
• Two years’ experience in the human services field.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel/training.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment and retention strategies across US locations using data.
• Carry out the annual recruitment plan and educate the community to build the Necco brand.
• Maintain foster parent records and ensure CRM data accuracy.
• Lead state licensing certification processes including home study and approval to foster.
• Provide foster parent training classes per state requirements.
• Provide rotating on-call advisory and support to foster families.
