Necco is seeking an Initial Licensing Specialist to lead recruitment and retention strategies across the United States. The role oversees licensing, home studies, and foster-parent training in line with state regulations, while maintaining CRM data and fostering community relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field with regional eligibility (Kentucky, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in social work or related field, or equivalent board-approved training.
  • A four-year degree plus coursework in behavioral sciences (e.g., social work, psychology, sociology); substitution of 1 year of casework allowed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruiting and retention strategy implementation across US locations with data-driven planning.
  • Manage certification process per state licensing, including home study and approvals for foster homes.
  • Coordinate initial training for foster parents in line with Necco culture and required training.
  • Provide rotating on-call advisory support to foster families and maintain accurate data in CRM and pipeline numbers.
  • Maintain foster parent records, ensure 24-hour inquiry responses (excluding weekends) and collaborate with community partners.
