Job summary

Necco is seeking an Initial Licensing Specialist to lead recruitment and retention initiatives across the US, directing policies and programs for foster care placements.

The role requires strategic thinking, strong communication, and collaboration to educate communities, partners, and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with state licensing and training requirements. Travel and training are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
• Experience in foster care or human services preferred.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs.

Responsibilities

• Use data to meet recruitment demand and plan annually.
• Carry out the annual recruitment plan.
• Build relationships with foster parents, community groups andLocal businesses.
• Maintain CRM data accuracy and follow-up communications.
• Lead certification and home study processes for licensing.
• Coordinate foster parent training and ensure documentation.
• Provide on-call support to foster families.
