Job summary

Necco seeks an Initial Licensing Specialist to lead recruitment and retention strategies across the United States. You will manage certification, home studies, and foster parent programs, building brand partnerships and guiding admission from referral to placement.

You will train staff, monitor data, and ensure timely communications while upholding Necco's culture of humility, hunger and smart collaboration in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field (Kentucky, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio).
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in social work or related field, or Board of Regents degree with human service concentration, or bachelor's degree with approved training (West Virginia).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with 7 hours in behavioral sciences; one year of casework may substitute.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the human services field.
• Auto Insurance Coverage 100/300/100 and valid driver's license.
• Experience with Training.
• Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new programs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Successful completion of all required criminal background checks.
• Travel/Training willingness.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment: ensure targeted recruitment, annual plan, referrals, and branding in foster care.
• Certification: lead state licensing process including training, home studies, and approvals.
• Initial Training: manage all aspects of foster parent initial training and corporate culture.
• Adhere to Necco meeting structure and contribute to performance scoring.
