Job summary

Necco is hiring an Initial Licensing Specialist to lead recruitment, retention, and certification programs across the US. The role emphasizes data-driven planning, community education, and building partnerships with foster families and local organizations.

You will manage the home study process, train foster parents, and collaborate with the team to ensure policy compliance and program quality. Travel for training and fieldwork will be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21.
• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field (multiple states listed).
• Bachelor's or Master’s in social work or related field, or Board of Regents degree with human service concentration.
• Two years of experience in the human services field.
• Auto Insurance coverage and valid driver’s license.
• Experience with training.
• Excellent computer and communication skills.
• Criminal background checks must be successfully completed.
• Willingness to travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment planning and strategy across US locations using data insights.
• Manage and implement certification and home study processes per state licensing.
• Oversee initial foster parent training and ensure Necco culture alignment.
• Provide on-call advisory support to foster families on a rotating schedule.
