Job summary

Necco is seeking an Initial Licensing Specialist to spearhead recruitment and retention strategies nationwide. You will lead the certification process, manage home studies, and educate the community to foster Necco's leadership in foster care.

You will train foster parents, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with teams to ensure timely inquiries and compliance. A strong communicator with strategic thinking is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in human services or related field is required.
• Minimum 21 years of age and two years’ experience in the human services field.
• Auto Insurance Coverage and valid driver’s license are required.
• Successful completion of all required criminal background checks.
• Willingness to travel for training and work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment and retention strategies across all locations in the United States.
• Develop and implement annual recruitment plans using data and community outreach.
• Establish Necco brand leadership in foster care through events and partnerships.
• Manage state licensing certification process and home study approvals.
• Maintain foster parent records and regulate pipeline data in the CRM.
• Provide foster parent training classes and ongoing growth recommendations.
• Support foster families with rotating on-call advisory duties and documentation.
