Job summary

Messerli Kramer P.A. in Minneapolis is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead strategic BD and marketing initiatives for the office and its practice groups, partnering with Practice Group Chairs, Industry Leaders, and firm leadership to identify growth opportunities and strengthen client relationships.

You will drive BD strategy, coordinate proposals and RFP responses, manage events and thought leadership programs, oversee marketing materials and CRM data, and mentor attorneys on client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field is required.
• 5+ years in marketing, business development, or related roles within professional services.
• Experience influencing diverse stakeholders including attorneys and clients.
• Strong proficiency with CRM tools and marketing technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead BD strategy and execution for assigned practice groups and industry teams.
• Develop strategic BD plans to support revenue growth and client retention.
• Coordinate RFP responses, proposals, and client pitches with attorneys.
• Oversee marketing materials, website updates, and social media presence.
• Manage marketing budgets and measure program effectiveness.
• Support client events, thought leadership, and sponsorship activities.
• Mentor attorneys on client development and cross-selling opportunities.
