Job summary

Lathrop GPM LLP is seeking a Manager - Business Development in Minneapolis, MN (hybrid) to help evolve the firm’s growth strategy and support practice groups in winning new business from clients and prospects.

The successful candidate will partner with senior BD leaders, oversee pitches and RFPs, and guide BD initiatives across practice areas while coaching attorneys and coordinating with pricing and marketing teams."

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, or related field.
7–10 years of marketing or business development experience with significant project management.

Responsibilities

Partner with the CCO and Director of Business Development to identify revenue growth opportunities.
Oversee pitches, proposals, and RFPs for assigned groups; coordinate with pricing team.
Ensure content reflects group experience across channels and guides clients/prospects to hire the firm.
Lead business development training programs and provide one-on-one coaching to attorneys as needed.
Manage industry relationships (e.g., IFA, ACC, ACG, BIO) and report ROI and budgeting needs.
Plan client seminars, attorney speaking engagements, and other marketing events; maintain CRM mailing lists.
Regularly evaluate ROI of initiatives and advise on opportunities with new or existing clients.
