Job summary

Lathrop GPM is seeking a Manager - Business Development in Minneapolis or Kansas City to drive revenue growth and client initiatives. You will collaborate with the CCO, practice group leaders, and marketing to develop and execute strategic plans, pitches, and proposals.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of marketing or business development experience, strong communication, and a proven ability to manage multiple high-impact projects in a hybrid, professional-services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field required.
• 7–10 years of marketing or business development experience.
• Strong project management and budget experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience with professional services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CCO and Director of Business Development to identify revenue growth opportunities.
• Oversee pitches, proposals, and RFPs for assigned groups, draft content with pricing.
• Develop annual business plans aligned with the firm’s strategy.
• Coach attorneys and manage performance plans.
• Manage client relationships and ROI reporting.
• Plan client seminars, events, and CRM list management.
