Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking an experienced leave and accommodation professional to design, launch, and grow this capability within our Employee Relations Center of Excellence. You will influence service models, workflows, forms, and toolkits, and implement education and continuous improvement.

You will personally guide employees and leaders through complex matters across a multijurisdictional workforce, partnering with the Senior Employee Relations Manager to shape the program and delivery.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of progressive experience in leave administration, workplace accommodations, benefits, employee relations, or a related function.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leave and accommodations role.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred, certifications in leaves and accommodations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Help shape operating model and processes for the leave and accommodation program.
• Design and implement workflows, forms, toolkits, procedures, and reports.
• Lead communications, readiness, and education for new processes and technology.
• Administer complex leave and accommodation matters, identify risk, and improve processes.
• Manage complex leave and accommodation cases from intake to return to work or closure.
