Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply and Bay Center Foods seeks a Lead Advisor to oversee disability and leave management, including FMLA, ADA, and state leaves, ensuring compliance and accurate administration for a growing distribution network.

The role collaborates with Legal, payroll, and People Leaders to implement policy changes, maintain documentation, and drive scalable leave solutions while protecting confidential information.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience, including leave and benefits management.
• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred.
• Experience with FMLA, ADA, and state leave laws.
• Knowledge of multi-state benefit plans and payroll processes.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration and serve as SME for disability and leave programs (FMLA, ADA, workers' comp, state/local leave) ensuring consistency and compliance.
• Implement and communicate changes to benefit policies with local Talent Leaders.
• Partner with Legal and Talent Leaders to ensure federal/state compliance and company policies.
• Stay updated on wage/hour regulations and leave policies across employee populations.
• Create scalable leave of absence solutions for growth.
• Represent the company in prioritizing leave technology and benefit offerings to enhance the employee experience.
• Collaborate on payroll and timekeeping system changes in the distribution network.
• Document and maintain detailed written processes.
• Handle confidential information per policies.
• Partner to facilitate leave and accommodation processes, balancing care, compliance, and continuity.
• Drive integration across vendors, systems, and processes for scalable leave experience.
• Align with Inc. leave practices while adapting to supply operations.
