Job summary

WEOKIE Federal Credit Union is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to design and implement employee and leadership development initiatives aligned with strategic goals. The role collaborates with organizational leaders to identify needs and deliver effective learning solutions, overseeing staff and day‑to‑day learning operations.

The position focuses on role-based training, leadership development, and continuous improvement, reporting to the Vice President of Employee Experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• SHRM or other training certification preferred, or willingness and ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Passion for facilitation and delivering engaging learning experiences.
• Microsoft Office knowledge from intermediate to expert level.
• Familiarity with GiANT leadership preferred.
• Ability to utilize AI responsibly within the role and the team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong aptitude for learning software/eLearning development tools (Articulate, Captivate; BIZLibrary; ADP LMS).
• Technical aptitude for supporting the Learning Management System.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and continuously improve learning programs.
• Lead leadership development initiatives and role-based training.
• Oversee Learning & Employee Development staff and operations.
• Collaborate with leaders to identify development needs and program effectiveness.
• Manage learning systems, records, reporting, and vendor relationships.
