Job summary

The Kresge Foundation is seeking a Strategic Learning and Evaluation Officer (SLEO) to advance a culture of learning across program areas in Detroit. This role partners with teams to connect data and insights with strategic decisions, and to strengthen evaluation practices across the foundation.

The ideal candidate brings five to seven years in community development or related field, deep experience with qualitative and quantitative methods, and the ability to design theories of change and logic

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in community development or related field.
• Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods.
• Experience designing theories of change and logic models.
• Proven facilitation and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to equity and learning as core values.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities that support a culture of learning and continuous growth.
• Connect data and insights with decision-making and improve overall effectiveness.
• St ew ard relationships with external consultants and partners.
• Collaborate with Program Operations and Information Management staff.
• Disseminate the foundation’s learnings across the field.
