Job summary

InterMetro Industries is seeking a Training Manager in Wilkes-Barre, PA to lead learning and organizational development. You will assess training needs, design programs, and manage learning systems to ensure employees have the skills to perform effectively.

The role partners with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, HR, and Operations to align training with business goals. You'll oversee vendors, measure program impact, and drive a culture of continuous learning and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related Business discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in training, learning and development.
• Experience managing training programs, learning systems, or cross-functional training initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of companywide training and organizational development programs aligned with business priorities.
• Manages planning, delivery, and evaluation of training programs to meet operational needs and development goals.
• Oversees employee enrollment, participation tracking, training communications, and support processes.
• Partners with leaders across departments to identify learning objectives and appropriate training solutions.
• Manages relationships with external vendors, consultants, and training providers.
• Owns the Learning Management System process including assignments, tracking, and metrics.
• Develops and executes training strategies and enhancements to support business objectives.
• Measures training effectiveness via assessments and surveys and reports results.
• Manages channel training for Reps, Dealers, Consultants, and Specifiers.
• Coordinates training logistics, tools, materials, and vendor resources.
• Evaluates learning technologies and tools to improve accessibility and engagement.
• Maintains and governs internal training content and standards.
• Performs skill gap analyses to inform new programs and priority development.
• Upholds InterMetro Code of Business Ethics and reports concerns appropriately.
• Other duties, as assigned.
